In addition to acupuncture, the extended visit allows more time for complementary techniques such as massage, cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, or ear seeding as appropriate.

The AcuThai session specifically includes approximately 45-50 minutes of Thai Bodywork on a floor mat and 30 min of apuncture on the treatment table.

90-Minute Thai Bodywork with Hot Herbal Compress

Individualized 90-minute Thai Bodywork session incorporating traditional heated herbal compresses along with compression, acupressure, assisted movement, and stretching. The warm compresses add heat and aromatic herbs to the bodywork experience and may be focused on particular areas as appropriate.

Personalized Self-Care Consultations

One-on-one guidance focused on practical self-care strategies you can use between visits or on your own. Depending on your needs and your practitioner's scope of practice, your consulations may include self-massage, foam rolling, stretching or mobility exercises, qi gong, breathwork, relaxation or meditation techniques, and Chinese medicine-based dietary and lifestyle guidance.

In-person consultations may include demonstration and practice of selected techniques. This is an educational self-care consultation and does not include a full massage or acupuncture treatment.

Payment & Insurance

Journey to Wellness does not bill insurance directly. Superbills are available upon request for patients who wish to submit them to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement are determined by your individual insurance plan and are not guaranteed.

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, electronic payment methods, Journey to Wellness gift certificates, and applicable prepaid service credits or packages.
